Adam Owen wins GUKPT Leeds; next stop Luton October 7-14

British pro Adam Owen scored a unique double at GUKPT Leeds this weekend, taking down both the Main Event – for £41,950 – and the Mini Main. It’s the first time any player has ever won both tournaments at the same event. The next GUKPT is Luton, October 7-14.

Christophe De Meulder wins Unibet Poker Belgian Championship

Belgian poker pro and TV personality Christophe De Meulder has won the award-winning Unibet Poker Belgian Championship Main Event for a career-best cash of €42,020.

PokerStars Festival London starts tomorrow

Following an epic PCA in the Bahamas, PokerStars LIVE is back in the UK this coming week with PokerStars Festival London. The event starts tomorrow at The Hippodrome Casino with 10 tournaments on the schedule, including the £500,000 guaranteed PokerStars Festival Main Event (£990 buy-in, running January 24-28).
